i'm still pretty damn sore from bikram yoga on tuesday.  it's strange how and hour and a half of stretching can make you so sore.  my hamstrings are so tight, so i'm looking forward to class tonight to stretch them out.  hopefully i don't black out again!  but i know i will.  it'll take some time for my body to get use to the heat and poses.  i usually drink a lot of water throughout the day, but i think that i need to drink, eat, and snack some more.

i took my fruits out of the food dehydrator last night.  the funniest thing.  i made 2 fuji apples, 2 pears, 2 kiwis, 4 strawberries and a banana.  sounds like a lot, yeah?  well, i thought so!  but everything fit into a teeny itsy witsy ziplock bag!  and there was still lots of room in the baggy!  i thought it would at least fill 2 bags but nope.  but they are sure yummy.  i am pretty sure i'll finish the bag today at work, and that would be great.  meaning i have a good and big serving of fruit for the day!  does it work that way?  is the serving the same even tho the juice is extracted?  hehe.  i also filled half a bag to give to parkin's mom.  whenever i buy dried fruits at the store, even trader joe's, it's always super sweetened.  she's diabetic.  so when i gave her the bag yesterday, she thought it was from the store, and i told her that i made it and no sugar was added.  she looked happy about it.  i know she loves snacking but is always limited because of sugar level in all the snacks out there, even dried fruits from the store.  why DO they put so much sugar on the fruits?  it's so yummy without any altercations.

after taking out the dehydrated, i filled the trays up again with bananas, pineapples, and lemons.  i kept the dehydrator on overnight and it smelled wonderful in the kitchen this morning.  i didn't want to leave the machine on all day, but i want to dry the pineapples a little bit more.  when i get home tonight, i'll turn it on for a couple more hours then i'll make some more apples and kiwis.  warning on the kiwi's tho, because the green meat of the fruit dries up and the seeds don't, it makes for a super sour treat.  and i can't wait for the lemons to see how they turn out.  i know people who like to eat the lemon as a whole, rinds and all.  and i dehydrated the lemon, sliced it up with the rind.  i'll taste test tonight.

and guess what else i did last night?  i made magnets!  thanks
lan for the idea and support.  you're badass.  :)  i wasn't sure if they turned out right because the pictures of her magnets looked cooler, but i'm happy with the result.  i'm also not sure if the size of my magnets are too small, but luckily my circle puncher fit the magnet exactly  but her marbles look rounder.  and the height of the magnet is sort of tall.  my marbles were crookidy too.  and i had bubbles between the paper and marble.  ah well.  i still like em.  my friend moe and my cousin dave just bought a house, so i made some for them as a housewarming gift.  :)  i hope they like them.

i really enjoyed making the magnets last night.  between magnet making, fruit dehydrating and angel, time just flew by.  i want to make more tonight but i ran out of magnets.  i want to find some cooler paper too.  beverly's selection was just aight.  i also need to get some tins to fill them in if or when i decide to give em out.  but i think they will look good on my fridge for now.  *grinning ear to ear*

not much substance in my entries these days.  *shrugs*  hope you all are still there.  i was wondering tho, are judy and kat still out there? haven't heard from you ladies in awhile.  *waves*

and for you non employed folk, go out an enjoy the day!  it's perty out. :)
i leave you with a couple pictures from my trip to tustin from a couple of weekends ago.
take it easy all.
