what i like to call adkins day, meat and tomatoes, was hard on my tummy last night. but i'm sure it will be easier tonight. :) last night i george foremaned a couple of steaks, they were so yum, and i cut up some fresh vine tomatoes for me and my jung. and i finished the last of the soup of that batch. another pot was already on the stove boiling and was ready by the end of the night for consuming. i was really lazy last night after eating so i didn't prepare lunch for today, but some soup. i'm always get lazy like this near the end of my 7 days, which is bad. i need to drink more soup, but i don't. i need to eat more, but i don't, well not enough when i'm suppose to stuff myself. but i actually had a horrible tummy ache after dinner last night, i don't think my body was really prepared for the large amount of food going in, in that one sitting, so after i *coughpoopedcough* i felt a lot better, then lay down to rest. then i fell asleep. hehe. i woke up to a loud sizzling noice and i thought that my soup was over boiling so i woke with my heart racing and ran to the kitchen where i saw parkin grinding his coffee beans. dammit. almost had a heart attack. i went back to lay down but the anna nicole show was on and i stared horridly at the screen and watched it. it's like a train wreck, that show. she's so annoying and gross. yet i finished the episode. this morning, i weighed in at 131lbs. day 6: beef and vegetables. eat to your heart's content of beef and vegetables this day. you can even have 2-3 steaks if you like, with green leafy vegetables. no baked potato. eat your soup at least once today. day 7: (since i don't plan to post tomorrow) brown rice, unsweetened juices, and vegetables. again, stuff stuff stuff yourself. be sure to eat your soup at least once today. tonight, i'm going to grill some steaks on the foreman again, but i'll cut it up into strips and wrap them in some lettuce for some fajita lettuce wraps. dice up some tomatoes, saute some spinach with lemon juice and garlic, and maybe grill some asparagus and zucchini on the g.foreman grill of course. the first time i did this diet and saw the eating schedule, i said ew, brown rice. i never had it before but the thought of dry brown pellets wasn't appealing to me. after i ate it tho, with some veggies, it wasn't half bad! so i don't dread brown rice anymore. i'll have to have a big breakfast of it tho because tomorrow morning, i have my trial makeup sitting with my makeup artist for the wedding, and then almost immediately after, parkin and i are meeting with john louie, of dream factory studio for some pictures at the beach. we already took our engagement photos in hong kong, one you saw here a couple of days ago, but our photographer for the wedding included a free engagement shoot for free in our package! how could we say no, right? then i get to finally eat like a normal being again on sunday! but from experience, i can't go completely normal. i want to keep the weight off and i dont' want any more tummy aches. parkin and i spent hours on the computer last night going thru his music files and mp3's to look for music for our slideshow. it's hard finding the perfect song! a couple of them were easy breezy, but i'm having a hard time choosing one for my growing up days. we're an alternative couple, so music we mentioned to john jow that we might want, he didn't have. hehe. then while we were picking music, i checked some prices on a digital camera i like. but wont' get because i can't afford it. but it's still fun to search around for a great price. :) does anybody have the nikon coolpix 3100? any reviews on it that you might want to share? let me know, thanks. god, it's a gorgeous day. i hope it's like this tomorrow, minus the wind. hope you go out and enjoy it! have a great weekend! |
