so yesterday was a busy day at work for me. this company that i work for just kinda started a few months ago and i stepped into an accounting position without knowing what i'm doing. i have no experience with accounting and did not know i would end up in this field. i feel bad because the bossman is suppose to be able to come to me with questions and i'm suppose to know how to answer them, but it's not how it is. so the business started out kinda on the rocks and i dont' think i'm helping matters much. essentially i am going to start everything all over. yup, from the beginning, enter inventory, enter payments, enter vendors, enter customers, start doing invoices all over. there are over 40 invoices already, but at least it's not over 100. (trying to be optimistic, can you tell?) so vi deleted my quickbooks program a minute ago and is now installing it all over again. man, o man. i have a lot of work to do in the next couple of days.
i got this citation a couple of days ago. $50!!! that ain't no chump change. i'm trying to dispute it and i just finished writing up a letter, it's on the way to the post office now. i've gotten like 5 citations before and only one letter worked. the first one. i doubt that they'll let it slide, but it's really wrong this time. they issued the ticket at 5:27pm, they say that i drove away. for one thing, i was in my car still at 5:27pm and left my car at 5:30. i could not have driven away. i was parked there until 9 pm. sucks yo, i think the city is always trying to squeeze every penny from us law abiding citizens.
one year from today, i'll be getting married!
