quinella... win.... place...show...exact.  ever been to the horse races?  you better learn the lingo before you go!  last night, a group of us went to baymeadow with my dad.  i'd never been so i was a bit confused at first... well actually, i'm still not sure what i did.  parkin told me to go get a voucher, so i did.  then look at the odds and pick a horse... i looked at the names and numbers and chose my horses by their name.  hehee.  yeah, that wasnt' very smart.  i ended up losing ten bucks that night.  but then jeff treated us to dollar dogs, soda, nachos and fish n chips so maybe i made out.  then  afterwards, my dad treated us to kwongs for sui-yeh.  my dad was super excited that all of us wanted to go.  he loves going to the races and had his program, pen, and glasses all ready.  it was really cute.  thanks to jeff, i have pictures!

tonight i went to a family dinner.  my cousin gary and wife adopted a baby boy, justin parker, from korea.  they had a welcome dinner for him at tong palace in san francisco.  the food was tasty and the company was wonderful.  justin is so cute, i wish i had a picture to show.  must get digital camera!!!   i had a really good time seeing everyone.  afterwards, parkin and i went to cindy and matt's place in the east bay.  peg was there with ashlyn, wing, wil, and tony.  cindy dipped strawberries and bananers in chocolate and that was a really yummy treat.  ivy and oli went over after working at the restaurant and we all hung out, watched tv, and played with ashlyn throughout the night.  ashlyn is growing to be a very delightful little girl.  she has such a personality!!!  she knows how to show emotions now and how to get someone's attention and hold on to it with her charismic all knowing smile.  she started talking to us after she ate and it was just the most adorable sound.  i wish we knew what she was saying!  peg is so lucky to hear her talk everyday!  i'm so glad that peg called us to hang out.  she'll be here til thursday, so hopefully i'll get to see them again before they leave.  like i said, i'm greedy with my peg time.
