dana and her boyfriend brian both work at a great fusion restaurant called roy's in the city. for memorial day weekend, roy's threw a bbq picnic at stow lake and parkin and i were invited to go along with jana, jeff, jazlynn, dave and moe. although it was quite over casted this morning, it was really fun and of course, the food was great. roy's doesn't mess around even for a bbq. crab burritos, unagi rolls, olives, salami, and fruit galore for starters. chicken ka-bobs, flank steak, burgers, and mussels just to name a few for the main attractions. yum-meeeee! my allergies were killing me tho, so i was pretty worn out from my continuous sneezes. jana and jeff went to rent a 6 seater bike/carriage thing and we rode around the park. regardless of the hay fever, we had a lot of fun. and even tho it was over casted, parkin's white ass arms attracted some of those uv rays and ended up with some sun burnt arms! lucky he sunblocked his bald head and ears. |

we left the roy's bbq early to head over to san jose to meet up with peg and the gang. we got there and then left her house to go to lollicup in cupertino for boba tea. haha. but before we headed out, she gave me her digital camera! as my greedy hands grabbed at it, she pulled it back to herself to put new batteries in it. wow, how spoiled i felt. so i have a bunch of pictures from today from MY new old camera, but i don't know how to load them onto my computer yet.... something like i need to upload a driver to my computer before i can do it. soooo, picture updates are on the way! hope you all had a wonderful and restful memorial day weekend! |
