today was a busy bee kind of day.  i am going to be in a wedding in september so a bunch of us went dress shopping everywhere today.  my cousin hogan rented a tahoe and came down from sacramento with his fiance and other bridesmaids.  i wasnt' exactly sure what we were looking for because anchalee had talked to me before about getting our dresses made, but i guess wanted to to give us some options.  so parkin and i met my cousin hogan, fiance anchalee, bridesmaid mook, and maid of honor amanda at tanforan mall where she had seen one dress she liked. i saw it and thought it was ok, but the other girls didnt' like it.  we headed down to san jose to pick up another bridesmaid, alyssa, anchalee's cousin, then went to valco where they had a couple of stores.  in one of the stores, they had only large sizes to try on the dresses, so me being a completely large size next to these other girls, tried them all on and modeled for the rest of the girls.  i didnt' mind, it was actually kind of fun, but seeing how stick thin ALL of the other girls are made me realize how important it is for me to lose weight before september.

so after valco, we headed over to eastridge... i hadn't been to either of these malls in ages, it was a nice change but we went straight to the dress stores then straight out.  we didnt' find anything in eastridge either, so we decided to head to valley fair to check out the large macy's dress selection, but again, didnt' find anything.  i had to go to tiffany's to exchange the mesh ring that dana got me, but they wouldn't do the exchange because i had stretched it out too much. *pout*  i had wanted to wear the ring on my right middle finger, but i guess i'll wear it on a skinnier finger.
anywyas, the rest of the girls went to bebe and on the way there, they found the jessica Mc Clintock store and found a dress that they liked.  i went and tried it on, of course it was too small for me.  the sales guy there was super helpful tho and found me a perfect size in a different color and it was a perfect fit.  but of course, since it was a perfect fit, the guy told me that the blue doesnt' come in a size 7.  the factory doesnt' make the blue dress in a size 7.  i really do have bad luck this year.  so he's ordering me the size 9 and imma have to alter it.  but yay!  we found a dress!  it's really nice too, and it's on sale!  but even nicer, anchalee decided to pay for our dresses.  after hanging out with her more than i've ever since i've met her, i've found that she is a really nice girl and very sweet.  if i had known this before she asked me to be a bridesmaid, i wouldnt' have felt as funny saying yes, but knowing her now, i am very honored to be one of her bridesmaids.  i had a good time talking to her and learning just a little bit more about her.   also, hogan anchalee asked parkin to be an usher at the wedding.  parkin said, 'sure'  ;)

my back is killing me today.  it's not my back muscles really, but more like my spine.  not sure if it has anything to do with my fall, but hopefully it'll feel better tomorrow.  hope everyone enjoyed their weekend!  here are a couple more pictures from the wedding.  enjoy!
