happy birfday to two of my oldest friends, tabitha and tyrone!
you're only 6 months younger than me, but we are the same number for now and for the next 6 months!
today was a lazy day... FINALLY!  it felt so great to just lay in bed and sleep in, something we haven't done in many weeks.  yeah, we had a few errands to run today which included church shopping, but that could wait a few hours.  haha.  i kept waking up every hour and debated getting up to shower and get ready to go, but my eyes were so heavy, and my nightmare kept drawing me back in, see 'the game' in my dream journal.  i wanted to wake up from it and tell parkin about it, but thinking about it just kept freaking me out, so i just tried to block it out.  finally we got up around noon and got ready to go, that is after heating up some leftovers to eat.  hehe.

we were finally on our way and had to stop by my brother's house to water the lawn and steal their sunday paper.  from there, we drove to palo alto to look at the first united methodist church.  it's breath-takingly huge!  we had gone there a few weeks ago, but it was closed and we were unable to look inside.  inside, the ceilings were so high and there were colored glass on the walls which amazingly brought in a good amount of light, the aisle was long, the church was spacious and clean, it's not exactly what i was looking for, i wasn't exactly looking for anything, but i could definately imagine myself getting married in that church.  plus parkin really liked it, so there it was.  we found a church!  hopefully they have the date available still.  we decided to look at one more church that my mom recommended, just in case, but it didn't look quite as nice.  YAY!!!  WE FOUND A CHURCH!  tabitha's sister's friend is getting married there this year and is also having her dinner banquet at the rincon center.  haha.  we're copy cats!  it's ok tho, we dont' know them.  ;)

afterwards, we went to look for some bikes.  i'm looking for one for myself.  i feel too lazy, and want to do some weekend riding and take advantage of the beautiful golden gate park we have in the city.  but damn, they're expensive!  parkin already has one from years ago, it's all rusted and busted, but he's gonna get some maintenence done on it.  he told me to use his brother's bike, but i want one that i can call my own.  yes, i know that we have the wedding to pay for, but the bike will help me lose the weight i want to lose for the wedding!!!  hehe.  parkin used to go biking a lot with his friends during the weekend during the bs days.  (bs-before sarah)  he told me that they used to go to the mountains and ride across the golden gate... damn, hard core.   i just wanna ride around a park.  maybe someday more, but i will have to train myself in the mean time.  i'm excited and hope to get a bike in the next month or two.  if you have any suggestions on where to go around the bay area for a bike, please
email me!  i'd really appreciate it.

parkin and stopped by cosco on the way home and shopped around before heading back to his house for dinner.  after we finished eating, my mom called to see if we wanted anything for dinner. *darn*  our parents went to cash creek in the morning and stopped by daimo for dinner on the way home.  isnt' that cute?  scary at the same time.  haha

it was a good day, we got things done.  i'm a happy girl!
