| we checked out of our hotel in sonora and headed to hearst castle in san simeon. unfortunately they were sold out of the tours so we bought tickets for sunday then headed to a little town nearby for lunch. it was quite a lazy day tho and i think everyone was tired. i felt bad that mr jung had to drive us all around, but he's not a very happy passenger. he gets headachy and dizzy very easily so he has to be driver. unfortunately for the rest of us, he's got a heavy foot, turns hard and brakes a lot. haha. we went to our hotel in king city, rested for a bit and went out to eat, again. last night, we had chinese and i treated them with my winnings. tonight, mr jung wanted chinese again! *sigh* parkin and i knew that these little towns of mostly mexican and white people just wouldn't produce good chinese cooking, but jung dad insisted on going to the only chinese restaurant in king city. it wasn't good. neither was the one last night. parkin had no appetite and picked at the food. we went back to the hotel after dinner and went to bed early. | ||||||||||
| parkin playing centipede at our 'best western' room i was starting to feel bad today because i was getting a bit irritated with jung's dad. dont' get me wrong, i love my future in-laws, they are very kind and generous people with great personalities, but mr jung, he's a very strong headed man, likes to have his opinions. he's a very hard-working which has made him the successful businessman he is today, but there's just so much of it you can take when youre with him for 18 hours a day. i had to bite my tongue a lot. he reminds me a lot of my own father. i talk back to my own father, but i don't dare talk back to mr jung. i know, i'm a really bad daughter. :/ |
