after a long day of work, paying bills, entering data, balancing the books, playing online games on msn, and checking and responding to email, i met up with parkin, his parents, and my parents at a new japanese restaurant that opened in san mateo on el camino.  parkin's company had a job with them and needed to pick up a check.  the owner of the restaurant invited them to dine there, so mr. jung called up my parents and invited us all to have dinner.  my mom is on a strict diet and today was green veggies, no beans day, and she wasn't planning on coming but had some business to do in san mateo so came along instead of having my dad drive her all the way home them come all the way back.  besides, she loves the company of mr. & mrs. jung.  she sat the sullenly with her green lettuce salad with no dressing and watched us gobble on yummy sushi, grilled fish, soups, asparagus beef, sashimi, baby lobsters, shabu-shabu, and tempura.  i even had to take the mandarin oranges and carrot slivers out of her salad!  i'm really proud of her tho, she's sticking to it and already lost 3 lbs!

although the food was good, portions were average and prices were high.  parkin and i agreed that we would prolly not come back.  i rather go to sushi sam's on 3rd street for just as good japanese food.  but i know that toyko star will manage well without our business.  they'd only been open a couple of weeks and foot traffic was really good.  yay for them
~happy birfday wing!~

ivy called and had an extra pair of tickets to watch 'goldmember' at century 12 in redwood city at 10:20, so after an hour of lounging after dinner, parkin and i met up with the group, wing-ivy-oli-cindy-matt-tally-pete-wil there.  the girls all looked at my newly tattooed brows, (i was a bit embarassed tho because it was a bit oily with ointment, peeling and lumpy looking) but they all complimented the work done by tina.  cindy is also debating on getting some tattooing done, and i say
go for it!
i quite enjoyed the corniness of the movie and thoroughly enjoyed all of the cameos!  i hadn't read much about the movie so i wasn't expecting all of the stars to show up.  very cool.  and if you're not a brittany fan, you'll absolutely love it.  ;)

after the movie, as soon as we got out of the exit doors, we stopped in a little group and hung out for a few minutes.  i find that to be a trend with most groups of friends.  no matter where we are, what we did, indoors or out, after hanging out with each other for over an hour or more, before we depart from one another, we hang out before heading out.  geez, what a long run-on sentence... did that even make sense?

i'm pooped.  this has been a super long week.  i'm so looking forward to the weekend. :)
