we got our new bed today!  it's so exciting!  our new easter king sized mattress is HUGE!  last night we got back from wil and tony's house around 2:30-3am.  bright and early at 7am, parkin swore he heard the doorbell, startled me by staring at me with huge eyes as i groggily stretched to wake up, rushed us out of bed... i mean off the floor, and cleaned up.  luckily they weren't here yet.   i moved all my crap into the computer room, he moved the sheets off the floor and vacuumed.  i went into the livingroom and in about 10 minutes, the delivery guys did come, and in lightening speed moved up a metal bed frame, 2 twin sized box springs, and our humungous eastern king mattress.  damn, they were quick.

once i walked into the room, it smelled like a new room.  the fresh mattress had an aroma to it, and i felt like i was in a new car.  damn, our bed is hella tall too!  i was still way tired to really appreciate it tho, and since we didnt' have any sheets to cover it, i didnt' want to sleep on it just yet.  i went back to the livingroom, turned on the tv to watch some cartoons, parkin made breakfast, and we ate.  afterwards i fell asleep on the couch for almost 3 hours while parkin watch the special dvd disk of the lord of the rings.  finally i got up, showered, and we went out on our way to look for sheets for our new bed. bed bath & beyond, nope.  macy's nope.  strouds, yup!  they had a pretty good selection of eastern king sheets, but pricey.  unfortunately  they ran out of the colors we wanted, and they were closing and didn't really want to help us, so we'll prolly go back next week.  in the mean time, we'll use his old sheets as cover.
