WEDDING UPDATE:
parkin decided he wanted one more groomsman, and i am stoked to say that he asked my brother! i really couldn't imagine him not being in our bridal party pictures, and i'm so happy that parkin asked him. that left me with a little dilemma, i needed to find another bridesmaid. that wasn't a very difficult choice tho, so i called PEGGY up on the phone and asked her. it was so hard for me to decide whether to ask ivy or peggy to be a bridesmaid in the beginning, but my reasoning behind it was that ashlyn was going to be our flower girl, so peg would have been a part of the wedding, and that's why i asked ivy. but it worked out perfectly in the end.
i was hoping to ask peg in person, but wasn't sure when i would have the opportunity to see her again since she is going on a girl's trip next week and prolly wouldn't be back to sf for at least a month. plus i was way too excited and couldn't hold back when i was talking to her. the kickass thing about my asking her was that she didn't question it at all. we'd talked about it before, how our friendship is so easy, we don't have to work at it, and that it just comes naturally. she even joked that it was her goal to be nice to me from the beginning of our friendship so that she could be a bridesmaid. haha. then i started feeling like my asking her was going to be a burden to her because i started thinking about how many times girlfriend has been a bridesmaid, but she assured me that it wasn't and offered to me help from irvine.
i'm such a happy girl.
thanks to my evil angel who updated me on american idol! *thanks sweetie* i'm still bummed that tamyra got knocked off, but we all know that she's gonna make it big.
moe and dave picked parkin and i up around 10:30 this evening, then we went to pick up dana at her apartment, then the 5 of us head up to sacramento for the weekend. dana went out to eat korean bbq for dinner, and i sat next to her.... yes, i started to feel like I ate korean bbq after awhile. the bad thing was that dana tried to use some raspberry lotion to cover up the smell of bbq, but that made it worse, and it smelled like raspberries had been roasted on the grill too. haha. on the way to sac, parkin felt a bit hungry so we made a pit stop at in&out, parkin got a burger and fries, then dave and i split a meal. yummy.
when we finally arrived to moe's parent's beautiful house, ye and his friends sydney and debbie were already there, just chilling in front of the tv. the rest of us got our floors ready to sleep on, and parkin and i got into a little tiff. when we got there, i heard him say that he wanted to sleep on the couch, so i started setting it up for him. then he got all upset at me and made it sound like i was forcing him to sleep on the couch. *hmph* whatever. i went to the bathroom and got ready to sleep. by the time i finished, he was already KO'ed on the floor, so i went in the middle and slept between dana and parkin. long ass day
