after the rehearsal dinner last night, anchalee and her bridesmaids decided to go clubbing.  i was way too exhausted from the day to go, and when i arrived to the hotel in the morning, all the girls were hung over.  they all had headaches, looked really tired, and were super thirsty.  haha.  anchalee told me that they didn't get back to the hotel until about 3am and the first hair appointment was at 6:30am.  poor alyssa had the first appointment.  by the time i arrived at 9am, most of the girls had already gotten their hair done and amanda was finishing up, then anchalee, me, and then janice.  when i first saw the girls' head of hair, i thought, wow, curly and really big!  anchalee said that the woman doesn't take requests and just does what she feels would look good on you, but when i got to the chair, i just had to ask her to tone my hair down just a little.  instead of the massive curls, i wondered if she could just make the curls smaller, closer to my head, or just not as big.  instead, she gave me a head of braids.  it was... interesting but i didn't match the other girls!   oh well.

when i finished and got back to the room, the girls were doing finishing touches on their makeup and anchalee was getting hers done.  one of the bridesmaids, mook.... oh my, she was annoying me.  "i have a headache... i'm thirsty.... where's my compact... where's my dress... my feet hurt..."  she was driving me crazy.  it didn't get any better throughout the day.  i told her to go to the gift shop to get some aspirin, but she didn't.  i dont' think she had any money.  she had one of the groomsman go get her a bottle of tylenol, then had him get her water too.  i was also annoyed at her because she looked so horrible that anchalee was worrying about her.  the bride, on this special day for her, had to worry about her hungover bridesmaid all day and all night.  sheesh.

the ceremony went somewhat well, but i heard from selina that it was chaotic, as expected.  the guestbook wasn't there when the guests began to arrive, selina was suppose to pass out the programs but no one was at the guestbook table either when the guestbook finally arrived, so sel and my cousin's girlfriend ellen sat down and helped the guests.  parkin was an usher and as he tried to seat the guests, they had in their own mind where they wanted to sit and ignored him.  haha.  the photographer sucked, but the flowers were beautiful.  unfortunately, hogan and anchalee did not account for how the flowers at the ceremony were going to get tranferred to the restaurant.  my father offered to put them in his car, but the flowers were too big.  they ended up stuffing them in my brother's car.

4 bridesmaids and 4 groomsmen went in a mercedes limo, then the bride and groom with the maid of honor and best man rode in a jaguar limo.  we all had some champagne in the limo and rode to the restaurant in emeryville and then stood there waiting.  we didn't know what to do, so we stood there shivering in the cold.  the limo drivers took some complimentary photos for us in front of the limos but the photographer wasn't there to take more.

me and the girls decided to go to the room and rest.  a little while later, i decided to go downstairs to get some appetizers for us.  i got to meet and greet some guest and brought some spring rolls and potstickers to the girls.  the starters were yummy, especially since i hadn't eaten all day.  (no breakfast or lunch was provided for us and i had 2 glasses of champagne sitting in my stomach)  dinner was suppose to start at 6pm but we weren't announced until 7pm and dinner finally began a few minutes after.

the rest of the night flew by.  i got to sit with parkin, selina, my brother, dave, moe, dana, jana, jeff, jazlynn and jalene.  we had such a good time, the food was hella grubbin.  we joked, chit chatted, and played games at our table.  our plates were full and our glasses were never empty.  after the cake and favors were passed out, our table was stuffed and happy.  the dancing began but it was a long long day and we all had to work the next day, so we said our goodbye's and congratulations and came home.  my account of the day is written pretty poorly, but too bad.  i'm too tired to elaborate.

congratulations to the happy couple!
me and my handsome man.
