the air is cool, the sun is shining, what a wondefully charged day. i'm bummed that i have no nieces or nephews to take out trick or treating tonight. (parents don't want them to go) well, i have the option of going to jana to take jazlynn to stonestown, but i don't think i have time. we're going out to dinner at broadway prime in burlingame/san mateo for parkin's dad's birthday. it's not his birthday today, but we're celebrating tonight. jung's dad's bday changes every year tho. his parents go by the chinese calendar.
although it IS my sister in law, selina's berday today! i love my sister in law, she's the coolest and i'm a lucky girl to have such a great sis in law. tomorrow night we're celebrating by having a soiree at their house. she didnt' want to have any old party, she wanted to kick it up a notch and make it a soiree... cocktail attire requested. :) i can't wait.

i posted up dave and my halloween picture from early this month. we made a picture for november already, it's a cute one.
i was chatting with dave yesterday afternoon after i picked up some taco hell tacos for lunch. we were talking about how yummy they are and how we could eat a bunch in a sitting, and then he challenged me to a taco bell taco eating contest!
a few years back i lived in santa clara with my scu friends. one night me and 5-6 guys went to the nearby mcdonald's and had an eating contest. what was i thinking? i was hungry, the burgers were on sale and some of the guys had already done the burger contest, so i was attempting to beat their numbers, being the competitive girl i am. so a couple of us had a hamburger eating contest and the other guys who had already done the burger test had a chicken mcnugget eating contest. phan conquered us all by eating 10 mcdonald's hamburgers and i actually beat one guy by eating 6 burgers. bun and all. i was SO stuffed after that dinner, i think i busted the clasp of my pants. i think my friend derek had 44 nuggets and beat dave by 2 nuggets. haha! it was such a fun challenge.
so when dave challenged me yesterday, i considered it. "i think i can eat 10 tacos" then he said that he could eat 20 tacos. i don't know if he was trying to syke me out, but i said that i would think about it. after eating 2 tacos and a grilled stuff burrito for lunch yesterday, i realized that there was NO way i could even eat 10 tacos. i think my stomach must have shrunk or something. i told dave that and he replied with, "WEAK!"
