| *buuuurrrrrrr* it's cooold this morning, but so sunny out! what a beautimus day! i had such a blast at the warriors game last night, even tho they lost. we got to the stadium around 6pm and went into the suite. it was sweet!!! i felt like such a baller in there. there were hot dogs, chicken wings, sammiches, fruit platter of watermelon, honeydew, strawberries, raspberries, papaya, persimmon, kiwi, cantaloupe, grapes, 2 huge salads; cobb with bacon(yeah baby!) and ceasar, popcorn, nuts, chips, salsa, beer, soda, wine... i ate good last night and i was sooo happy i was off the diet. but lemme back up a bit and tell you how hard it was to get back into the game of eating. i had cereal in the morning, and a vietnamese sammich for lunch thinking that i would have no problem getting back into 'real food'. i wasn't planning to eat the sammich tho because shirley told me that there would be plenty of food at the game, but my boss asked me to pick up lunch, so i said, what the hell. i was craving the sammich anyhow. so while i was eating, i felt fine. 5 minutes after i finished the sammich, i felt SO sick. i wasn't sure if i wanted to poo or throw up, i was in so much pain. i felt like my stomach was going to rip open and the sammich was gonna come pouring out. i stood up thinking that it would help the digesting, nope. i ran to the bathroom and sat for quite awhile. i felt feverish for a moment, but after about 10 minutes, i felt all better. what a shock to the system. i was a bit worried about eating dinner, but it was fine. after yesterdays eats tho, i feel like i need to go back on the soup. oddly enough tho, this did NOT happen the first time i went on the diet, i eased right back into the food with no problems. that's why i didn't expect it too much this time. oh well, at least it's over! watching the ballgame flooded me with intramural memories. that was the best job i had when i was a scorekeeper/supervisor for campus recreation. maybe i should have become a professional scoreboard girl! basketball players are yum. i love bball physiques, really toned arms and calves. parkin isn't a baller, but when i met him, he had the bestest cut arms, i fell in love with his triceps. :) also, um, why were there more sacramento fans than golden state fans at the colliseum last night? the crowds cheered more when the kings scored. haha. chris webber has also become an angerball on the courts! he got a technical foul and gripped at the cameras. it was freaky dude! he looked like an animal growling. funny too. now, i remember when he was on the warriors a long long time ago, he looked happier then. maybe being a champion has gotten to him. *shrugs* ~ it was great hanging out with my old roomate shirley. when she worked in san jose, she invited me to sharks games and they sometimes had the suite there too! that was so much fun, the food at the sharks game was even better than last nights. hehe. she is truly a selfless woman, and she has such an awesome job at southwest airline. she is a marketing manager and LOVES her job. **by the way, for long time readers, shirley is NOT the ex-roomate that invited herself to my wedding** it was fun catching up with shirl last night. since we work so close to one another now, it's really convenient to meet up for lunch or dinner now. *cool!* ~ damn, look at the muscles on this purty girl! ~ t minus 5 days til hong kong |
