Cinderella
Cinderella

Cinderella is the story of a young girl who's father has died, leaving her with a step mother who, while kind while her husband was alive, becomes cruel after his death.

She has two daughters of her own, whom she forces Cinderella to wait on. While Cinderella is dressed in rags and forced to act as a scullery maid, the sisters entertain themselves with balls and parties, and are served breakfast in bed.

Soon, the Prince of the kingdom throws a ball. Looking for a prospective bride, all the eligible ladies in the land are ordered to attend. Cinderella, being the daughter of a lord, and therefore eleigible, wishes to go, but is prevented.

She is rescued by her fairy godmother, who turns a pumpkin into a coach, four mice into four horses and makes Cinderella a ballgown with glass slipers so she can go to the ball. The only catch is that it all dissapears at midnight.

Cindrella is so excited she hardly listens to her fairy godmother, and when she meets the handsome Prince, she loses all track of time. When the clock strikes twelve, she runs from the ball, leaving the Prince with no idea as to her identity.

On her way out, she loses one glass slipper, which the Prince uses to find her. He does, eventually, and they live happily ever after.
