| Knox County is served by 10 Fire Departments, 9 of which are fully volunteer. 2 Departments serve the county for extrication needs in vehicle accidents (Artemus and West Knox). Each department serves a specific area as well as offers to support to other departments that may be needed. the members perform duties related to: fire response and protection, vehicle accidents, search and rescue, as well as other activities to serve their communities. |
