MAKITA 1/17/04 With a very heavy heart, I ask you all to welcome my Makita, my 17 year old Miniature Pinscher in to heaven. I will miss her terribly so. I just got back from helping her to the Rainbow Bridge. She was the love of my life for 13 years, I adopted her with her best friend Itsy, that some of you may remember I had to put to sleep almost two years ago. Makita was blind and deaf and incontienent, and had lost half her body weight, she was so weak she could not even walk across the floor. In her prime she weighed 13. 8 pounds and today she weighed 6.3 pounds. She was ready a lot sooner than I was. I am not as sad as I thought I would be , I really feel a deep peace for her. I am sad, and I will miss her, but my love for her will remain, and she got the diginity she deserves. The heavens will be much brighter tonight, and you all should rest easier, for my Makita is now one of the Angels watching over us. Good-bye for now my friend....I love you always.......Your Mom, Jodi |

Winnie came to me at 13 yrs. old after his Mother died. It's didn't take him long to fit right in and become one of the more permanent members of the Hargis house. He was a very large Boston, over 30 LB. He loved playing with his ball, puppies, and hugs by the couch late at night. His heart wasn't good, and his legs hurt him, but he always had a smile for us. Winnie passed quickly. He is now at peace with his Mother who I know he missed terribly. God Bless them both and I pray they have eternal rest. |
