Elvis 1994ish-6/04/2004 Our dear sweet Elvis Buddy passed away at 12:15am this morning, His poor little heart could beat no more, he started to go down hill Saturday afternoon. We fought a long hard battle and he was up walking and drinking water on his own again just last night. I woke up t 12:15 to find him laying by my side of the bed , he had just passed on. it was inevitable with the way his heart was when I got him from the shelter. He was there for over a year and did not have any heart medication. I am just glad he was around for almost 2 years and that he had all the bones and raw meat that he could ever have wanted. |

| Pedro was a sweet, gentle senior boy who came into rescue from a local animal control facility. He was just a good old soul who walked a little funny from what we believed were neurological problems affecting his gait. Pedro only wanted a quiet, peaceful place to call home, which he found at "Bud's House," a doggie retirement home of sorts in Houston. Pedro crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on June 21, 2004, after a sudden onset of kidney and liver failure. His final months at Bud's House were very happy ones for him. Rest in peace, old gentle soul. |
