This is inside the buffet restaurant. The food was excellent! Breakfast includes made to order omelets, lots of fresh fruit (papayas, pineapple, watermelon, bananas, oranges), yogurt, cereal, pancakes, bacon...and excellent coffee! Shirts and shoes are required at all times. Breakfast is served from 7am to 10:30am; lunch from 12:30pm to 3:30pm, and dinner from 7pm to 10pm.

An outside view of the buffet restaurant.  I enjoyed the wonderful salads and fish for lunch every day. There is waiter service for bar drinks.  Excellent desserts and many varieties of ice cream to finish it off.

Snack bar open 12:30pm to 11pm. Grill with made to order hamburgers, hot dogs, and fries. Also available: pizza, salads, guacamole, fresh fruit.  There is self serve coffee, tea, and hot chocolate, in addition to a full service bar. My only disappointment was that there were no blenders to make fresh fruit smoothies.

El Rancho a la carte restaurant : reservations required for dinner at least one day in advance, from 8am-11am in the lobby. We ate dinner here twice & it was amazing. We enjoyed the shrimp and lobster. At 11pm this restaurant turns into a disco.  Very busy on the weekends; quieter midweek.  November is "graduation month" for Costa Rica so there were lots of teenagers.
