Quid Pro Quoi? Smirk has lied so much he is now having trouble calling the kettle a kettle. There have been so many bad decisions since January 20th by the Smirk appointistration it’s hard to comprehend, but let’s see if a few trees can be picked out of this vast forest of Big Business Payback. One of the first things Twig did was to reverse the Clintonian decision to protect the forestlands. Last week he decided carbon dioxide is not a pollutant, and lifted the regulations imposed on power plants whose emission levels were high. It might not be such a pollutant if ¾ of the Earth’s Rainforests weren’t destroyed. Now he has decided that arsenic, a known poison, is safer for drinking water than the Clinton administration, and that the World Standard on water is too strict. All of these moves have been blatant ‘quid pro quo’ payback for those industries, mining, oil, etc, who contributed big time to his campaign. Ok, so what does that mean? Less forest = Less oxygen = Death Arsenic = Poison = Death Clearly they are trying to kill everyone who wasn't a large campaign contributor. If the Smirk appointistration, who currently have the keys to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, really believes carbon dioxide is not a pollutant, then perhaps they should all place plastic bags over their heads and see if they stay alive on just carbon dioxide. They should also be banned from getting access to bottled drinking water, and be required to bathe, brush their teeth with, and drink the water with the higher levels of arsenic they want the rest of us to be exposed to. What kind of water do they think the livestock in this country will drink? What kind of water do they think the farmlands will be irrigated with? Do they plan to grow their own organic food with specially filtered water? Do they think the World Standard of arsenic levels in drinking water came about because someone didn’t have anything better to do, and that there wasn’t substantial proof it was a known carcinogen and could be dangerous? Oh yeah, I remember – It was during the Clinton administration when the same standard was adopted in this country. I forgot their rules: Anything Clinton did = Bad. Eight years of Peace and Prosperity must be bad since it was a Clinton accomplishment, so let’s do everything we can to trash the land and the economy as fast as possible, and do exactly the opposite of Clinton. The biggest hypocrisy of all is the nonstop media and republican screaming regarding “quid pro quo” possibilities of the Clinton pardons, yet the phrase is not even mentioned over the blatant quid pro quos of each and every one of Smirks actions since he was appointed to Bogus POTUS. - Cease funding for foreign Planned Parenthood = Payback to The Christian Coalition. - Hoarding of Energy, creating a false shortage and driving up prices = payback to Enron (Bush’s largest contributor and the largest Utility Cartell in North America), and other energy corporations who were large contributors to his campaign. Simultaneously screwing Californians who did not vote for him. - Reversing the Forestland Protection Act (which also opens up Denali to oil drilling) = payback to Big Oil and Lumber industries who both were big Bush contributors. - Creation of Faith Based Charities = Payback to Christian Coalition and Reverend Moon. Again, both big Bush contributors. - Sinking of Ehime Maru/Nine people dead = Payback to BIG OIL donors by letting them 'drive the sub', and letting a Navy Captain with a spotless record take the fall for the MONEY. - Bombing Iraq = Payback to Military. - Declaring Carbon Dioxide is not a pollutant, and lifting the bans on emissions limits = Payback to Big Oil (one of Bush's largest campaign contributor) and other industries. - Lifting the required limits on arsenic in drinking water, so the USA has higher limits (more parts per billion) than the World Standard (more arsenic in our drinking water) = Payback to the Mining Industry, and other Industrial business. To add to that everyone in his cabinet has been on the board of a major BIG BUSINESS CORPORATION which was a MAJOR CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTOR. Our government is being run strictly on the principles of Quid Pro Quo. Payback is Payback. Well, you know what they say about payback.......... Clinton and the rest of us never deserved this..... I believe in KARMA - I can't wait for the real payback. |
