Pink Floyd Pink Floyd--
Sincerely, what can you say about this band?!  They've done it all.  From blockbuster "Classic Rock" albums, to trippy "Progressive Rock" albums with bagpipes.  You just can't put this band into words.

Factoid:
Dark Side of the Moon was on the Billboard Top 200 Charts for a record-setting 741 weeks: 14 years, 3 months, and 7 days.
My Recommended Albums:

*Atom Heart Mother

*Animals

Johnny Cash
Alright-- I don't want any guff about Johnny Cash being in my "Rock" section!!  He's rocked for more years than I've been alive!  I just love the older albums, the "classic Cash", but if you've not listed to his "American Recordings"... click off of my website and buy them NOW!  I promise, you will not regret the poetic brilliance of these albums.  They are truly Johnny Cash in his element.  A masterpiece of lyrics and simplicity, and a fitting farewell to a legend who-in my mind-will never die.
My Recommended Albums:

*American Recordings IV; The Man Comes Around

*The Essential Johnny Cash
