The Beach & Hillside Cottages
After walking past the docks & lobster ponds on the flower lined walkway you finally come to the BEACH!  Yes, this is why we came!!!  Warm water & white sand!  Lots of hammocks & nothing more than barefeet, bathing suit & a good book required.

Life on the island is difficult... We each managed to read four books, these are the first books we've read since last vacation & will probably be the last until next year!  Life is too BUSY!  The sun here is very intense, as you can burn in just over an hour or more.  Remember, it's only 13 degrees from the equator.  This means an hour or so of snorkeling to sun your back & another hour in the lounges for the front... Then go read in the shade...
As I mentioned earlier, this is a 35 acre island & not only has ocean front cottages, but also hillside retreats.  Even though these are way up the island, farther than Liz & I would even consider climbing, as you have to do it every time you want to go to the beach, eat or go to St. Vincent.  Some really wild & crazy folks actually stay up here!!!
