Okay, for those (unfortunate) of you who have stumbled by accident onto this site, or those of you who are so bored that you're reading this anyway, here's a little bit about me.

Well, my real name is Jonathan Edward Taylor and I was born in Bury, Lancashire in 1980. I stand 5' 10'' tall and weigh in at a hefty 9st 8lbs. I am of a slim, athletic build with short, dark hair and green eyes. In fact, you can probably tell all this from my picture on the site (if they're there yet).

So what do I do? Well, as of writing I'm a graduate student studying for an MSc in the History of Science, Technology and Medcine at the
University of Manchester. My home department is CHSTM. I finish this course in October and then go where the winds may take me.

My undergrad degree was a BSc in Physics with Astrophysics. What a horror that was! Well, at least I made lots of friends at uni over those three years and completely wrecked my liver. Heh.

In between my courses, I worked in various places. First off for British Gas Communications, data entry crap then on the phones for which I got 'terminated' because I couldn't get there on time. Then I worked for two weeks in Wythenshaw for Jungheinrich. That was crap and I 'left'. Then I reached the dizzy heights of working for Threshers offie. That place got robbed too much and closed down. I also sold gas over the phone for Universal Utilities. Unfortunately it was on behalf of Enron, and we all know what happened to them. Then I finally got a half decent job as an Investigator for the Royal Bank of Scotland which I held for nine months. Not a bad place but not the best wage in the world. The bloody taxman still owes me over 400 quid. I'm here living out of bins and they have my money - that sounds fair! Cheers Gordi!

My main interests include: running, cycling, drinking (mainly bitter, but whatever will get me ruined), hiking, reading and other stuff I can't think of right now.

From the start of July (2003), I'll be living in Withington with some top mates, Andy, Irina and Steve (see if you can find them in the photos).
