English Democrats Party A party that wants devolution for England. They are against the idea of Europe as a political entity. They want Yorkshire to be reunited and greater autonomy for Cornwall. Verdict: 3. Seems are rather confused policy. Profile Party An anti-abortionist party. Against any form of violent protest. Verdict: 1. I prefer PRO-choice to ANTI-abortion. Christian Peoples Alliance Opposes abortion and euthanasia and wants to use Christian values to build a better society and help the poor. Verdict: 2. Too old fashioned. Countryside Party Want to change CAP so it more favours British farmers. More money should be spent on rural communities. Verdict: 3. Farms are a thing of the past for this country. It's time we moved on. Senior Citizens Party Big it up for the oldies. They want pensions pegged at 50% of earnings and index-linked. Also they want priority health care for the elderly. While it is true that will do live in an aging society, we should not simply focus on one age group of the population. Verdict: 3. Too narrow a policy. Liberal Party Wants to form a Commonwealth of Europe rather than the current EU where countries simply have trade relations. Verdict: 2. Will never happen. Peace Party Opposes anything to do with the military. Verdict: 0. Deluded. There are several other parties, but I will not list them here as they are either pointless or only fielding one candidate. I hope you found my rhetoric usefull in your decision making. Vote 2004 Politics Home Index |
