The Birth of Evolution
This summer, the Summer of 2002, will be remembered in
LTU history for the startling success of an upstart
new faction, Evolution. The original 3 leaders,
Whitesburg, Mike8787, and myself, Dark33, have created
a force to be reckoned with. Yet, surprisingly, all
other factions, LZA, Sin, and Resistance have
denounced Evolution. As Vegetaman recently did in his
article, let’s take a look at the factions. However,
we will do this in a less LZA biased sort of way.

Resistance-The oldest faction, that I’ll be the first
to admit is the most long-lived, vital part of the
board. Not so vital anymore however, but still going
strong….or so the leaders think. The Resistance has
declined continuously since its glory days, and right
now is a shell of its former self. Take one good look
at the roster, and it’s safe to say that there are few
big names on it. Too many ghosts, too many
non-factors. Exceptions include Roody, CGB, E-Man,
Pretty Pink Horseman (:D), and several others, but
still, this faction is nowhere as strong as it used to
be.

LZA- The only “good” faction on this board, and IMO
possibly the most necessary, although not necessarily
in this form. I totally lost my respect for V-Man (the
leader), recently, due to some of his actions (blind
Anti-Evolution), but I agree that in part he has been
victimized by Brain and 8787 in some ways. Looking
back, even though I agreed to it at the time, I now
resent Brain’s “Worst. Plan. Ever,” and I believe that
the impersonation on MSN was totally unnecessary.
Getting back on track, the LZA is also a shadow of its
former self, but it’s stronger than it really looks. I
believe that with a merger with Sin, and maybe a new
leader (no offense V-Man), that it could become the
strongest faction today.

Sin- Who? Seriously, there’s been about 1 active
member lately. Let’s see……Wiergraf….BUUUUUURRRRRRRRP,
uh…… I seriously don’t see a point in this faction’s
existence. Stop putting the blame on Evolution, and
recognize the fact that Sin, not Evolution, is the
faction with no point.

Evolution- While I disagree with several recent
actions, I am still loyal to Evolution as a whole, as
I believe in the cause. (No further ranting, because
it will obviously be biased :P )

Now what was this all for? To show everyone that
Evolution, although with its faults, should not be
destroyed, and the only faction that seriously should
consider merging/disbanding, whatever, is Sin. Every
faction has its faults, but every faction (with the
exception of Sin), has a reason to exist.
