LSA/LZA – The Downfall of the LSA
"What can one say of such things, they are indescribable in their depth, and thus add to the enjoyment." - Vegetaman, Leader of the LZA

It was a regular day back in March 2001, and the LSA (Level Six Army) and Resistance were doing the usual fighting mixed with the casual verbal abuse/flaming.

Vegetaman was new to the boards just a few days, perhaps even barely a week earlier, and had frivolously looked over the factional choices. His overall choice was to side with dark33, gjdsj, and Choculink - and the might of the LSA.

At this same time, Vegetaman figured if one faction could do a good job of beating down the Resistance, why not make another? With 2/3 odds in their favor, there was more of a chance for newer membership, and a strong bond would already exist.

So, Vegetaman finally took the name of his favorite RPG - Zelda - and tacked it after Army. Hence, he created the famed LZA (Legend of Zelda Army). It's first members were the heads of the LSA, none other than dark33, Choculink, and gjdsj.

Vegetaman wanted to help, and equality was also his game. He felt all members of a faction should be equal, with a leader for the sole purpose of unification and organization. With great strives, Vegetaman formatted the LZA along the lines of the principals of democracy. The LSA members liked this format, as it also resembled their own army, and many flocked to the LZA.

This was the set up of the LSA, and Vegetaman fell in right at the Lieutenant Rank. Starting the LZA at Lieutenant and continuing with this format, Vegetaman started to build up the LZA, and it caught a strong foothold on the Long Time Users (also known as LTU) Board. The LSA and LZA were a pair, and together, they were going to crush the Resistance!
Of course, war soon broke out, and off to war the two factions went. Unfortunately, a small lapse was being created as members of the LSA became dual members of both LZA and LSA, but this didn't hinder the war effort. As is usual with board wars, not exactly the greatest turn out, but it's where Vegetaman made his RP Battle start.

Nothing exciting happened for a few weeks then, as the LZA began to become larger and larger, with the Resistance badmouthing them until they were blue in the face.

Then the VDC (The Veteran Defense Corp), led by Brother Reed and several other officers, became part of the equation. Vegetaman joined the VDC in the swordfighter division, and tried his best to get in contact with the VDC for a tri-alliance. The newly formed trio of LZA, LSA, and VDC would crush the Resistance surely this time.

Finally came the day when dark33 left Choculink in charge of the LSA. Nothing wrong came of this yet, as Choculink did a fair job of keeping control and order at this time.

After his short control of the LSA, Choculink turned control over to gjdsj, and that's when the trouble began…

The LZA, LSA, VDC, and Resistance were peaking out – and fighting on the board wasn't good enough. So, a plan was created, for the three factions to become one. With this power-house, they would move out, and conquer other boards to add to the domain.

The LZA and LSA didn't trust the Resistance keeping it's end of the bargain, but besides harboring this thought, nothing bad could be seen coming from it. This was until gjdsj decided LSA needed out.

He started off by saying that the LSA wouldn't be a part, and that for being a part of this, Vegetaman would be kicked out of the LSA. Vegetaman had risen to the rank of 1st General just before this incident, and was immediately dropped from the roster.

Then, the bad part of people being in dual factions began. The majority of the guys in LSA were pissed at gjdsj for being such an ass (not only to Vegetaman, but gjdsj was turning into a lunatic…), and migrated over to the LZA.

The infrastructure of the LSA crumbled, and as soon as dark33 returned, he had no choice – but to disband the LSA in its entirety. Well, now it was just the LZA vs. Resistance, and the LSA was gone for good.

Several attempts were made at a Neo-LSA, and even reinstating the LSA itself… but, these tries failed, and the LSA is no longer in existence in any form other than a faint memory of a good time on the Long Time Users Board.

"And when the LSA collapsed, thus began the dawn of a new era, a time for radical change." – Vegetaman, Leader of the LZA
