A Sample of the Wildlife found in Yellowstone Park
The American white pelican can be found at most all lakes and rivers in Yellowstone, this one was resting along the Gibbon River
Bison can be found throughout the entire park, roaming at will, even on the roadside.
Squirrels and chipmonks are the easiest to find, this one was a family member living along the Firehole River near the Grand Geyser.
Elk are also common in the Park, especially around the Mammoth Hot Springs area
...but they are show stoppers when babies are present.
