Barnesville Animal Control Department

This is the City of Barnesville's Newest addition to the Animal Contol Department.  The Impound Facility is Located on the western part of City limits. Thanks to donations the area is now fenced with "Sampson's fence" and was erected by the Barnesville Lions Club. The facility can hold 4 dogs with outdoor runs and 4 cats inside the facility.

Pet licenses are good for only 1 year. All pet licenses, regardless of when they are purchased, expire each December 31st. New licenses are due by January 1st. If you have not already licensed your pet, a citation may be issued should your pet be impounded. Licenses are available at City Hall, The Police Department, Barnesvile Animal Care Clinic and Pretty Pet Grooming.
