Here in Barnesville we have a second grade, third grade and fifth grade D.A.R.E. Program. We believe that teaching the students at various times in their school career along with a curriculum that adjusts to the different situations they may face as they get older, will build their strength and ability to handle tough obstacles with confidence and ultimately make better decisions.
Currently we have two D.A.R.E. Certified Instructors on our Department. They are Chief of Police Dean Ernst and School Resource Officer Jeff Tharaldson.
