(04:32:52 PM): yes, you need to agree about the characteristics that are
shared by the buildings you all described elultimoingles
(04:33:07 PM): WE'RE SUPPOSED TO MAKE COMMENTS ABOUT THE OTHE'S
WRITTINGS.. lindarodulfo
(04:33:09 PM): which are the common elements of the buildings. lindarodulfo
(04:33:39 PM): for example: all the buildings have a lot of ornaments dygonza
(04:33:41 PM): please, do not shout Daniel elultimoingles
(04:33:52 PM): I'M NOT ale_toad
(04:34:06 PM): Ok, I think that the style of the ornamentation of all
the buildings was very related to each other lindarodulfo
(04:34:13 PM): daniel now you can talk pingridn
(04:34:15 PM): Alejandra has the swallows building where everything is
swallows dygonza
(04:34:22 PM): yes, linda that is it. Remember that is is a paragraph so
you need to follow the form of a paragraph elultimoingles
(04:35:03 PM): OK, THEY ARE ALL SECESSIONIST pingridn
(04:35:28 PM): and beautifull birds, but what about architecture? dygonza

how the complexity on the facades are similares dygonza
(04:35:50 PM): please, Daniel it is not of a good taste to use capital
letters in chats ale_toad

for example elultimoingles
(04:36:06 PM): SORRY dygonza
(04:36:08 PM): yes, Ale pingridn
(04:36:12 PM): whats secessionist? elultimoingles
(04:36:28 PM): WHAT DOES WROUGHT MEANs elultimoingles

(04:36:59 PM): ok lindarodulfo
(04:37:03 PM): sorry ale_toad
(04:38:09 PM): So, i think that in all the cases the facades are the
most resaltant aspec of the building lindarodulfo
(04:38:12 PM): another thing that is important is that all the buildings
( in think) was made for the burgueise elultimoingles
(04:38:19 PM): the're all houses.. right? lindarodulfo
(04:38:30 PM): yes ale_toad

(04:38:47 PM): yes lindarodulfo
(04:38:48 PM): yes!!! pingridn
(04:38:51 PM): yes, maybe because only matters how they are integrated
to the city ale_toad
(04:39:00 PM): and i agree with linda elultimoingles
(04:39:12 PM): ... but what about ricardo's railroad station... elultimoingles
(04:39:29 PM): what does that had to do with the other ones... lindarodulfo
(04:40:03 PM): I think that is was b`cause only them had the money to
pay for ( did you remember ) pingridn
(04:40:05 PM): trough the facades lindarodulfo
(04:40:08 PM): te video) elultimoingles
(04:40:29 PM): .... but.... considering that its integration to the
urban landmark is what is in fact important... lindarodulfo
(04:40:32 PM): i dont understand the Ricardos`s summary ale_toad
(04:40:34 PM): that`s why isn`t showed in any picture, an interior space,
but only the facades pingridn
(04:40:45 PM): mee too ale_toad
(04:40:52 PM): neither do i!! dygonza
(04:41:01 PM): Ricardo is not here today? lindarodulfo

(04:41:22 PM): no, he`s not pingridn
(04:41:26 PM): the ornamentation is what matters, i think elultimoingles
(04:41:36 PM): me too pingridn
(04:41:40 PM): or interior spaces ale_toad
(04:41:44 PM): in all cases!!! lindarodulfo
(04:41:50 PM): did anybody sow the Ricardo`s building? ale_toad

(04:42:53 PM): pretty much so.. pingridn
(04:43:15 PM): Yes, like Gaudi`s facades lindarodulfo
(04:43:19 PM): another thing that i just remember is that almost all the
buildingshad refernces of other styles... pingridn

(04:44:10 PM): Good work so far, keep it up ale_toad

(04:44:17 PM): now you get it!!! elultimoingles
(04:44:39 PM): so.... are we done here? pingridn
(04:44:52 PM): my building has influences to medieval architecture lindarodulfo
(04:44:53 PM): I dont think so lindarodulfo
(04:45:23 PM): mine as gothic pingridn
(04:45:24 PM): why? elultimoingles
(04:45:30 PM): mine is secessionist lindarodulfo
(04:45:37 PM): why what? ale_toad
(04:46:04 PM): i think mine is kind of barroque pingridn
(04:46:17 PM): i though you were saying that my building is not
medieval, sorry ale_toad
(04:46:21 PM): what does scessionist means?? elultimoingles
(04:46:38 PM): i'm not quite sure... elultimoingles
(04:46:42 PM): i think... elultimoingles
(04:47:16 PM): is the european style in the post war period... elultimoingles

(04:52:47 PM): is more like neoclassical... ale_toad
(04:52:56 PM): so, what about the form of our buildings? I think they
didn`t have anything strange from the oters, i think they all are like
"sculpted boxes" elultimoingles
(04:53:38 PM): ...i think because it shows some other way of ornament lindarodulfo
(04:53:41 PM): I like that phrase.. ".. sculpted boxes..? can I
use? elultimoingles
(04:53:44 PM): ...another style... elultimoingles
(04:53:50 PM): another teratment... ale_toad

(04:55:59 PM): are we done now? lindarodulfo
(04:56:04 PM): ok all this is very good but listen up... what is the
conection of the daniel`s building with the other ( because i think that

(04:59:31 PM): wrhought iron balconies lindarodulfo
(04:59:36 PM): well the have the treatment that my building pingridn
(04:59:41 PM): wrought iron lindarodulfo
(04:59:45 PM): did you read my summary? pingridn
(04:59:56 PM): of course lindarodulfo
(05:00:22 PM): you can read in the facde all the building`s parts ale_toad
(05:00:25 PM): but i think it is not quite different from the others, I
think that the one that is different is the Railroad statio pingridn
(05:00:30 PM): how your building is connected to the ground level and
the sky lindarodulfo
(05:00:43 PM): ? lindarodulfo
(05:00:50 PM): is that a question? pingridn

(05:01:30 PM): mine doesn't even shows that elultimoingles
(05:01:37 PM): (at least one of them) ale_toad
(05:01:39 PM): even the context of each building is similar lindarodulfo
(05:01:45 PM): ohh yes it does!!! lindarodulfo
(05:01:49 PM): (icon of mad face) pingridn

(05:03:44 PM): sorry sorry dygonza
(05:03:56 PM): and then pass it to another member of the group, and so
forth until it comes back to the one who wrote the first draft lindarodulfo
(05:04:04 PM): (angel face icon) dygonza
(05:04:18 PM): then, you have to send me the whole stuff as an
attachment to my e-mail lindarodulfo

(05:04:56 PM): you decide who that ONE should be pingridn
(05:05:02 PM): i prefer to do it now lindarodulfo
(05:05:06 PM): I choose..... lindarodulfo
(05:05:11 PM): tatarataaaaa.... lindarodulfo

conclusions to ricardo so he can read what we talked about, add his
comments and send the archive to dafne ale_toad
(05:07:17 PM): ok so start linda lindarodulfo
(05:07:20 PM): ah ok pingridn

(05:07:50 PM): is not fair elultimoingles
(05:07:54 PM): STOP lindarodulfo
(05:07:55 PM): and... ale_toad
(05:07:58 PM): you start first, you finish first, you go first dygonza
(05:08:01 PM): (crying face icon) lindarodulfo
(05:08:03 PM): IS NOT FFFAAAIIIIRRR!!!!!!!!!!! lindarodulfo

(05:08:43 PM): ...so.... elultimoingles
(05:08:48 PM): calm down.. lindarodulfo
(05:08:56 PM): my musa is not with me right now... can you please call
her later dygonza
(05:09:46 PM): Remember that you all have to read what the ONE has
written, and say if you agree or not, and then when every body has read
it, the ONE sends it to me and to the rest of you pingridn
(05:11:06 PM): the most important aspect in our chat was the character
of the facades, right? pingridn
(05:15:53 PM): the facades are different, but have some things in common,
such as hight, color, materials ale_toad
(05:16:42 PM): and how those building are like "sculpted boxes"
because of the exagerated design of the facades in contrast to space.
But they all respect the context of the city. lindarodulfo
(05:23:04 PM): now.... lindarodulfo
(05:23:16 PM): here is my baby!!! lindarodulfo
(05:23:22 PM): We
can conclude that all the buildings are the same intentions, is just
like if the architect was trying to create a unique piece "sculpt"
, with facades really beatiful . In another hand we also talk about the
material taht are the same in all the cases ( wrought iron, etc - I cant
remember the others ) and the inclusions on the facades of organics
motives, greats balconys, and the corcnices in some of the expamples... To
finish I think we also talk about the historicist style and how all the
buildings ( most of they) are influences for differebt styles from the
past and how this influences wasn`t so explicity isjust like in the
video: " styles reinterpretations, with the technology of this
time..." elultimoingles
(05:23:41 PM): now mine: elultimoingles
(05:23:44 PM): What our chat was about: we
graceously talked about our buildings, and the fact that ornamet play a
fairly important role in the contitution of buildings. Ornamentation is
also crucial for defining/identifying a style, and it has a profound
impact on the city its placed upon. So, all these buildings -deeply
carved/sculpted- in ourt very UNIQUE way actually talk about how the
building is and what it pretends to be -whatever that means-. dygonza
(05:30:14 PM): save what you have done here lindarodulfo
(05:30:18 PM): but just a litlle question lindarodulfo
(05:30:37 PM): i forgot... dygonza
(05:30:38 PM): and with that information you have to write a word
document dygonza
(05:30:43 PM): yes, tell me dygonza
(05:31:03 PM): following the parameters of a paragraph lindarodulfo
(05:31:03 PM): i forgot!!! dygonza
(05:31:12 PM): (wondering face) lindarodulfo
(05:31:33 PM): ok how is writing the summary? lindarodulfo
(05:31:41 PM): sorry who... dygonza
(05:31:48 PM): you have to decide about that |
