» CHAPTER THIRTEEN «

Two years later...
Rachael was driving to AJ's to pick him up to take him to practice. "Hey AJ are you here?" Rachael yelled as she walked into his house.

"I am in the back!" He yelled. Rachael walked to the back yard where AJ was sitting on the ground playing tug of war with Panda and Bear.

"Aw how cute!" Rachael said as she sat down next to him. "Hey guys!" She said as Panda and bear came running over to her.

"They have taken a liking to you!" AJ told her

"Just like their owner!" Rachael smiled at him.

"Not as much as their owner!" AJ told her as he gave her a quick kiss and got up to get his stuff.

"Ok guys I got to go!" She said getting up off the ground and walking inside. "You ready to go?" She asked as she walked over to AJ.

"Lets go!" AJ said walking out to the car.

When they got to the studio Brittany was there with Nick "Hey Rachael we got to talk." Brittany said with a big smile on her face.

"Ok come with me I got to go pick up my check and tell work I quit." Rachael told her. Brittany got in.

"Well last night me and Michael broke up for good!" Brittany blurted out

"You did what?" Rachael asked

"We broke up!" Brittany repeated.

"Why?? What happened?" Rachael asked confused

"He got jealous for no reason over me and Nicks friendship and he said some stuff I did not like so I ended it and plus I was getting tired of him anyway!" Brittany explained.

"Well it is about time!" Rachael joked

At the studio...
"Hey guys!" Denise said as she walked into the studio "I have some good news! The tour got bumped up and we leave in a couple days!"

"We do what? When?" AJ asked

"We leave for the tour on the 11th!" She told him

"But mom that's only a couple days!" AJ wined

"I know I just said that!" Denise said sarcastically

The rest of the practice all AJ could think of was how he was going to tell Rachael he was only going to be home for another week and then off for four months. Plus he would not get to spend much tome with her because Justin would be in town and practice.

Later that night Rachael and AJ went back to AJ'S house after their date. Rachael went and sat down on the couch while AJ went and got them something to drink. When he went back in the living room he sat down on the table in front of her.

"Baby we need to talk!" AJ said sitting their drinks down on the table.

"What's up?" Rachael asked as AJ grabbed her hands "AJ you are starting to scare me."

"What I have to tell you really sucks and I have been trying every thing I can think of to get out of it but I leave on the 11th!" AJ explained to her

"Leave for what?" Rachael asked

"The tour!" AJ told her

"Why!? But that's only in four days!" Rachael wined "That's not fair four months!"

"I talked to mom about it and everyone agreed that when your done with your classes then you can meet us where ever we are and be with us the rest of the tour." AJ explained

"That's in a month!" Rachael told him "That's a month I wont see you."

"I know but it will be fine!" AJ reassured her.

"I hope your right!" Rachael told him "Well since you leave in four days and I wont get to see you much can I crash here tonight?"

"I was hoping you would!" AJ told her as he sat down on the couch next to her and out his arm around her waist as they watched T.V.
