» CHAPTER EIGHTEEN «

Rachael was sitting in class waiting for the teacher to let them out. Rachael was so happy it was the last day of school and she got to leave to go meet up with Aj in three days. Rachael looked up at the clock " 5...4...3...2..." She said to herself watching the seconds on the clock.

"Have a great summer you guys!" The teacher told them as she dismissed the class. Rachael ran out of the class to go find Brittany.

"Brittany... Brittany!" Rachael cheered, "I get to go meet up with AJ." Rachael jumped and wrapped her arms around Brittany's neck neck.

"Yes, I know calm down." Brittany giggled, "You still have three days."

"I know three days!" Rachael cheered. Brittany just laughed and shook her head.

"Where are they now?" Brittany asked

"They are in New York till next week." Rachael told her as she walked up to her blue Mustang. "Well, I have to go finish getting everything together."

"OK babe ill call you later." Brittany told her giving her a hug and walking away. Rachael got in her car.

That night Rachael had just finished packing her stuff when she sat down on the couch it watch a little TV she turned it to MTV hoping that they were playing Backstreet Boys so she could get a glimpse of AJ. She was in luck she got to see the end of I Want It That Way. She did not mind cause it was he favorite part when AJ spoke at the end. Just as AJ came on the screen to speak her phone rang. She moaned and groaned and walked to the phone.

"Who ever this is I am so mad at you!" Rachael spat!

"I love you to!" A familiar voice said. Oh my God it AJ she thought.

"Hey babe I'm sorry but I'm still mad at you!" She grunted

"Why? What did I do?" He asked confused

"You interrupted my favorite part of my favorite video!"

"I'm sorry!"

"Now you got to do it!" She ordered him

"Do what?"

"Say the little part at the end of I Want It That way!"

"Huh?"

"Please!" Rachael begged "You owe me!"

"Cause I want it that way!" He sang

"Thank you!" Rachael told him. "So what are you up to?"

"Nothing really I am getting ready to go to bed we had a big day of practice and I just got to my room." AJ explained "I have a big favor to ask you though!"

"What's that?"

"Can you go to my house and feed Panda and Bear please?? My friend who normally does it cant make it tonight!" AJ told her. "Please" He begged

"OK I will!" She told him. "But I'm going in my pajama pants and my sports top!"

"Damn!" AJ wined

"What?" Rachael asked

"I miss seeing that." AJ cried

"Oh you'll see it soon!" She told him. "OK well I'm going to go feed them ill talk to you tomorrow."

"Yeah we have a day off so I will call you!" AJ promised "I love you!"

"I love you too!" Rachael grabbed her keys and hung up the phone.

When Rachael got to AJ's house Panda and Bear came running from the upstairs.

"Hi guys!" Rachael greeted! "Are you guys hungry?" Rachael walked into the kitchen and gave them fresh food and water. "There you guys go!" Rachael left them to eat and walked around the house. She walked into the living room and running her hands along the couch he always sat on and grabbed one of the hats he always wore that she bought him for his one month anniversary. Then she made her way to his studio in the back of his house. She walked in and turned on his radio he used when he practiced.

Everybody! Rock your body! Came over the speakers. Rachael laid down in the middle of the floor and laid there listening to it. A tear fell down Rachael cheek as she thought about how much she missed him. She could not wait till she got to go meet back up with him. As the song ended Rachael just laid there not wanting to move.

"Hey baby!" Someone said from the doorway. Rachael shot up and looked to see AJ standing there. Rachael got up and ran up to him and jumping in his arms causing him to loose his balance and falling to the floor!
