» CHAPTER NINE «

"But I love you too," Brian whispers again.

He goes to dry off, but gets an idea and quickly retrieves his guitar.

As she walks into her hotel room, Alexis feels a wave of loneliness. She changes into some dry clothes as she notices how hot it was in the room. She quickly opens the sliding door that leads out into the balcony. Alexis slowly sits down and regrets that she told Brian her true feelings. Suddenly her thoughts were interrupted by a soft sound of a guitar playing. Then a soft voice began singing:

After the first note she knew it was Brian. She looked at him with a confusing look.

"Alexis Marie Parker, I love you with all my heart. It just kinda took me awhile to realize it." Brian says lovingly.

Their eyes locked and both ran to meet one another. Alexis and Brian finally meet on the stairs in a hallway of the hotel. They both stare into each others blue eyes and slowly inch closer. Their lips finally meet in a passionate kiss that both have been
anticipating since they first met at the basketball game. After they broke the kiss, they looked into each others eyes once more and walked hand in hand to their rooms.

NEXT MORNING...
Alexis slowly awakes to unmistakable blue eyes.

"Good morning, Gorgeous! Mind if I cooked you a little breakfast?" Brian asks with a cute little smirk on his face.

Alexis just stared unbelieving how she could find such a perfect guy. He looked so cute with his curl's tangled from just waking up.

"Wow! No one has every done that for me before," Alexis says.

"You've never had a sweet most perfect guy like me!" Brian says with a wide grin.

"Ok then! Let me see this cuisine Mr. Chef," Alexis says.

As Brian hands her a plate of heart shaped pancakes and a box of cracker jacks, Alexis sees that Brian still has a bandage from a couple of weeks ago. She was about to ask him about it when he said, "Open the cracker jack box. There's a surprise!"
Brian giggles like a little kid.

Alexis laughs at Brian's excitement, " Brian you're such a goof!"

She opens the box and finds a ring that looked vaguely familiar. The inscription said,

"Alexis, I love and cherish you always."

"Awwwww, Brian! I love you too! I remember this ring from somewhere. When did you have time to do this?" Alexis says.

"This is the ring from the the first night i saw you. Remember when you picked it up at the basketball game?" Brian says

"This is the ring? May I ask why you carried it around with you?" Alexis says.

"I bought this ring along time ago when I thought I was in love but I realized i wasn't so I decided to keep it for when I fell in love. The night when we meet again at the club I knew that we were meant for each other. I think that's when I fell in love with
you. You know that night when were at the beach?" Brian asked

" ya...." Alexis says

"Well after we finished talking i went out to a jewelry store the next day and had this inscribed! I knew that we were/are going to be forever!" Brian says enthusiastically

"Geez.....I....m shocked! I didn't know!"Alexis says

"Ya, well hurry and get dressed so that we can go and tell everyone about US!!!" Brian yelled

"Ok,......Chill out! I'm going! Bet ya i'll beat ya!" Alexis says as she dashed to the bathroom

"Hey no fair! You got a head start!" Brian runs back to his room

In the elevator Brian and Alexis are yelling at each other because the tied and Brian thinks he won.

"No way i totally beat you!" Alexis screamed

"Nope, i beat you by a mile!" Brian says

"Well, since i kinda like you a little bit I'll call it a tie" Alexis says

"A little?? That's it?" Brian says

"No a whole bunch!" Alexis says as Nick, A.J., Kevin get on the elevator in time to hear the last part of the conversation.

"If it's not a miracle that ya'll finally got together. Gee Brian took you long enough!" A.J. says

"Well he's not the only one with a great girlfriend" Nick grins

"Ooo...shut up Nicky boy no one cares. lol Just kidding! I'm really happy for you!" Alexis says as she grabs Brian's hand.

Now that Destiny has brought them together you know that it now has to pull someone apart.
