USS Oklahoma, 1940

This primarily is about the damage to the USS Oklahoma (BB-37) and the US Navy Response and Recovery from the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on Sunday 07 December 1941 at 0700. Emphasis is given to the bombing and torpedoing, the resulting roll over, the righting, the refloating and the repairs to the Battleship USS Oklahoma BB-37.

This web site is dedicated to the memory of the entire crew, both the 986 survivors (62 officers and 924 enlisted men) and the 429 casualties(20 officers and 409 enlisted men killed or missing) of the USS Oklahoma who were aboard that fateful day.
