This is set almost16 years in the future after Jacob's birth.

On September 18, 2006, the world Above

is destroyed by Nuclear War and the tunnel residents have to go

further Below into the depths of the earth past the the Nameless River

to a brand new world. This story was originally written in 1993 and I am adding new material and expanding on some ideas as I go along.

There will be stories between this and Past Forward--haven't gotten there yet!
