• Padre Burgos was born in Ilocos Sur
• Diego Silang burned down Magsingal church as an act of rebellion against the Spaniards.
• Sta. Monica Church is the biggest and most elegant church in Ilocos Norte. It was once called San Miguel church in commemoration of the arrival of Agustinian missionaries on the feast of St. Michael

• Place at food… Magsingal, Ilocos Sur, syempre konting Ilocano food (kina Guia).
• Sunblock… (Nivea) ayaw naming umitim kahit gabi kami nagsi-swimming
• Clothes… halos buong likod nung pick-up gamit namin.
• Money… can't go anywhere without it…
• Camera… halos bawat isa may dalang camera kaya 'di namin malaman kung paano magpaparecopy.
• Slippers… magagamit mo talaga to sa mga di inaasahang pangyayari, like nung malubog sa buhangin yung mga gulong ng pick-up.
