My name is Becky,and I would like to share a little bit of the life of our angel, Michaela. Michaela's daddy (Dave) and I, her twin brother, Eric, and her two big sisters, Megan and Alyssa miss her very much. Michaela had a NTD (neural tube defect) called anencephaly, which is incompatible with life. Anencephaly is a defect where the brain does not develop. Most babies with anencephaly only live for a few minutes to a few hours. In rare cases, these precious babies can live for several days. Michaela blessed us with 6 wonderful days.
