Sour Cream Pound Cake
- 1 cup shortening
- 3 cups sugar, sifted
- 6 eggs
- 3 cups flour, sifted
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon soda
- 1 small carton sour cream
Instructions:
Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Sift flour with salt and soda; add to creamed mixed alternately with sour cream. Place in greased tube pan. Bake at 275 degrees to 300 degrees oven for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
