2000: Once again assigned to Class A Lake Elsinore....reassigned to Class AA Erie 5/15.

1999: Assigned to Class A Lake Elsinore of the California League....opened season at second base while going 2-for-5 with a double, a triple, and two RBI 4/8 at San Bernadino....moved back to shortshop while going 0-for-17 at the plate over the next four games....sidelined by hamstring pull 4/24 vs. Modesto....went 4-for-4 with a double and four runs scored 8/16 at Lancaster as a part of a five-game (10-for-16, three doubles, one homer, six RBI) hitting streak 8/15-19....injured while going 0-for-2 to snap streak 8/20 vs. Stockton....returned to action Aug. 29 at Modesto.

1998: Signed professional contract after being selected in sixth round of June Draft by Anaheim Angels....assigned to Class A Boise of the Northwest League....went 2-for-5 in professional debut 7/19 vs. Yakima....hit first professional home run 7/24 at Portland....saw duty primarily at shortstop.

Tech Career:
1998: Selected as a team co-captain...named to Baseball America's pre-season All-America team...posted a 14-game hitting streak (22-for-57) to begin the season...hit grand slam home run 3/7 vs. Virginia...sat out 3/28-29 games vs. Duke with "muscle fatigue" injury to leg...posted three-hit efforts against Winthrop 3/31 and N.C. State 4/4...went 3-for-3 before departing with mild strain of right hamstring 4/10 vs. Southeast Missouri State...missed next four games before reappearing in lineup 4/18 at Florida State...return proved short-lived with reaggravation of the injury on a botched force play in the seventh of that game....came back again 5/3 vs. Clemson....hit two-run homer with two-outs in top of the ninth to climax comeback win over Oklahoma State 5/24 at Midwest Regional....named to Midwest Regional's All-Tournament team going 10-for-23 (.435) two homers and eight RBI in Wichita....selected second team All-ACC.

1997: Participated in USA Baseball Trials Jan. 8-12 at Tampa...Rated fourth best college prospect for 1998 draft by Baseball America...went 5-for-7 with home run and five RBI vs. Evansville 2/23...belted first inning grand slam at North Carolina 3/10...saw streak of 80 consecutive starts at shortstop come to an end the following day due to a hamstring injury...missed four games before returning to lineup 3/16 against Virginia Tech. Homered in first at-bat of that game as a part of a 4-for-5, five RBI effort...outing began a three-game, 13-RBI stretch...went on to miss first two weeks of April due to aforementioned hamstring problem...returned to action once again 4/15...later missed first three weeks of May with same injury before finally returning for NCAA Mideast Regional...reaggravated hamstring 5/24 vs. Washington. Injury cost him 27 games overall during season....invited to return for National Team's summer camp but declined in order to allow hamstring injury to heal.

1996: Named to Baseball America's All-Freshman team after hitting .276 with eight home runs and 46 RBI while starting all 64 games at shortstop. Committed 17 errors while fielding .948...Elected to attend Tech after being selected in fourth round of 1995 draft by Minnesota.
