Gazelland Magazine will officially arrive in the New York scene on May 26th at Club Duvet. After 4 months of intense preparation, Le Coif Crew (publisher) is proud to present its first issue of the magazine that celebrates the underground freak chic scene in 3 fantastic and very different cities: New York, Sao Paulo and London.
Before its arrival at Duvet stage, which it has been scheduled for 1:16am, there will be a presentation by the Gazelland Girls: Tallula Blu, Gaisha Anne Rysee, Valerie, Joshua, Bridgette Bad, Miranda Moondust, Trixie, Jonte and Gazelle.
The theme of the party, or let's say the dress code is "" DRESS TO BE IMMORTALIZED", an updated version of the fabulous phrase "Dress as though your life depend on it " ... and it is expected that all New York fabulous freaks will show up looking as if they would be immortalized by their looks.
Kenny Kenny is on the cover of the premier issue, he is surrounded by two professional models. The 48 pages of the magazine are a chaos of colors and images. The graphic designer Michael Vendola who was in charge of the project followed the guidelines: have fun and pretend you are doing the make up of a chic freak.
The fashion spread Clubland was shot by Brazilian photographer Richard Machado at the Crobar club in New York. It took about 14 hours to be finished and had a collaboration of 23 people, including Nicky London, make up artist Marla Belt, Kenny Kenny, Billy Jay, Harry*, Lui Antinous and Sophia Lamar.
The second issue should be out by the end August.
So unleash the freak chic in you and Dress to Be Immortalized ...all are welcome!
