This is the QSL Card collection of Gerald and Gary Readore. We started listening to shortwave back in 1978, and have been listening off and on ever since. In our early days of listening many of the stations were QSLed with inexpensive analog multi-band radios. One was a General Electric Model P4970 10 Band Portable. The radio only had two shortwave bands, no digital frequency readout, no narrow filter, but it was enough to get us hooked. I'm still amazed at the stations we were able to hear on this radio. Over the years we have bought different radios (Sangean 818 and and Sony 2010) with the present ones being a Grundig Satellite 800. We have heard over 100 countries and over 170 stations through the years. Of course all of these have not been verified. Enjoy the collection!
