Thank you for the opportunity of telling you about our restaurants. Bernard Fischer, my uncle opened the doors of the Surf on October 30, 1948 to a small sleepy sea shore village with the thought that he would serve the community the finest fresh seafood from the families' fishing fleet at Port Canaveral. He did this with the communities' appreciation and approval. Two generations later the tradition carries on, but now also with the approval of patrons from around the world.

As the Space Program and other Central Florida attractions have grown, so has the Surf. We can boast the fact that we are a special gathering place for Astronauts, Newspaper, Television, Film, Sports and political Celebrities from the world over.

Yet local residents continue to patronize our family-run restaurant... the best recommendation we can get.
