Karen Doyle Henn and her husband Bob went off on an adventure of a lifetime. They spent nine weeks early in 2002 in Australia and New Zeeland.
Following are some pictures of their thrilling travel in the land "down under."

This lovely sunset greeted them at Arilie Beach in Australia

Karen Doyle Henn with a real German Angora Rabbit in New Zealand on Easter Sunday.  (Maybe this is THE Easter Bunny) Happy Easter to all! The wool makes beautiful sweaters.

On March 14, 2002, Karen was found feeding the Rosella Crimsons at O'Reilly Guesthouse on Mt. Tamborin, Australia.

Bob and Karen (Doyle) Henn on the #1 tee at Anglese Golf Club along Great Ocean Road between Adelaide and Melbourne, Australia.  The "roos" are like our geese on the Australian golf courses - big "pests."  Did you check his pocket for your golf balls?

Finally we find Bob and Karen (the first couple in the camel caravan) on a camel ride at Noosa Heads, Australia.   Karen's comment: "What fun!"
Thanks, Karen, for sharing part of your fantastic journey with all of us.  It truly does appear that you had the adventure of a lifetime for nine weeks on the bottom of the other side of the world.
Of course, Karen would love to share details of their trip with any classmate who might be interested or be planning a trip to Australia.
