Beaver in Spain!!
Hello there!  You haven't heard from me in a while.  Since my last trip with Bev and Wayne was so much fun, I jumped at the opportunity to go to Madrid with Bev and some of her friends.  Below are some of my pics.

This is a photo of me on the City Statue.  Apparently this statue is the "Symbol" of Madrid.  Aren't I cute!? The building behind me is where they have regular bull fights.

This church is located in the Palace.  Bev and her friends didn't get to see it.  They weren't lucky enough to be allowed into the Palace.  King Joan Carles and Queen Sofia were so kind to me.
This is the palace where the King and Queen of Spain stay whenever they are in Madrid.  They weren't there, but they let me stay there.

These were the carvings on the door.  I wanted a closer look.
The Queen's servants served me a robust red wine from the north of Spain.  It was a part of her Royal Winery.  It was gross, I don't like wine, but when in Rome. . . or Madrid in this case.

After my time at the Palace, I met up with Bev and her friends for lunch.  IT was very different than the stuff at the Palace, but the salad was good.
Later that evening we went to this club and had a Pina Colada.  The straws were longer than ME!!

This was a statue of a Matador.  I guess he killed the bull.  That was sad, although it meant steaks for EVERYONE!!!!  WOO HOO! This is a picture of me in the Matador's Hat.  He has a big head.

All the events of the day kind of tuckered me out.
Lastly this is me on the plane to come home.  I was sad to leave, but was looking forward to getting back to my house.
