| 5/1 - The next Bexarametric album is in the works. It will be called the BEX IDM LP. It will be a double CD of around 25 songs. The mixing and mastering work will begin this summer. The release date is looking like the fall or winter of 2003. Clark Crawford (Mr. Harten/Flick), who heads sound design for Acclaim, once again will be taking on the duties to mix and master the upcoming album. Look for the first disc to feature Bex's harder and faster material while the second CD will focus more on the softer side. He has plans to feature guest artists on vocals, guitar and drums for certain tracks. The release date is nowhere near official. Bex says that the album will not be released until he is completely satisfied with the near 160 minute offering. Plans for a vinyl release, which will feature certain selections from the album, is also planned. For the time being though, the main focus will be on releasing a CD. |

| 12/28 - The next month will be a busy month for Bexarametric. First, the Bex Idm Lp will begin the first stages of mixing and mastering. Kevin Deal will be working very hard in the coming weeks with Clark Crawford to mix and master the second Bexarametric release. The odds are looking pretty favorable for this album to be a double CD. Only time will tell. In other news, Bexarametric is working with vocalist Aaron Cason and drummer Burt Morton on the first single for the Bex Idm Lp. The song is titled "Battle Cry" and is already completed in the demo stage. While the track is pretty commercial, it maintains the normal abstract and complex elements that make up a typical Bexarametric track. The addition of Cason's vocals and Morton's drums add new elements that will set this track apart from anything that Deal has ever released in the past. So far the demo version is clocking in around 8 minutes. Look for possibly two or three versions to appear on the album.
