~*~-Kai Hiwatari-~*~ | ||||
Now, it's on to the guy everyone can't help but like, Kai. He's your "bad guy" in the series. Okay, so he's not bad- just mis understood. Right? No way. This boy is dark, brooding and withdrawn- and I think that's what makes him so appealing. Lets face it, in todays society, anyone who acts like this is an outcast. Forced away from any social group because of they way people don't understand their nature. Alright, so Kai is a outcast. The closest thing he has to a friend is his bitbeast, Dranzer. But the thing is- he can still be an outcast and remain generally liked and respected, which would never happen in real life. He's intimidating as hell, and isn't afraid to use that power to his advantage. Okay, now that that's over with- I can get into the guy's character. As I mentioned before, Kai is quiet, likes to be alone- and even slightly evil ^_~. He seems to be cmopletely involved in himself.....which he is.... But, he wasn't always this way. When Kai was six or so years old, he was taken from his parents by his Grand Father. Now, don't think that his oh-so-loving mother and father did anything to stop it. His mother was in hysterics, but she didn't try to stop him, and his father just stood there as his only son was hauled away by his equally caring father. Back then, it showed Kai as a happy little boy, who just liked being around people. Now though, he is only a shadow of his former self. It was because of his grandfather Kai became the twisted teenager he is today. The one who will only do something if it has something else good in it for him. The one who puts down his team mates. The detatched boy who will do anything to live up to his Grandfather. Despite all of this, there will be some moments when glimpses of that little boy can be seen. Look at the time when he saves Max from that glass wall. At first, he didn't want to admit to himself that he should have been there with them, but then realises that the little group could really get themselves into trouble. It was most definately that moment that sparked a small change in his character. Another example is when Tyson first loses to Robert, on the Ship going to Russia. He, suprisingly enough, was the one to tell them that they would survive, and that they should remember this moment- because it was a low point- but that they have to compare it against all the wins they've had. It's obvious that he isn't the type to open up to people, and doesn't trust anyone either. But would you trust anyone if you had been dragged away from your parents by your own, although crazed, flesh and blood? No, Kai's not heartless, but lets face it- he's no Friend of the Year, either. KAI; THE GOOD: He's powerful. He's intimidating to his opponents. He's a good leader. Can usually tell when somethings wrong. He's intelligent. Doesn't freak out when he's by himself (*cough*Tyson*cough*) And...THE BAD: He's intimidating to everyone. He's too guarded. Has one hell of a superiority complex. He's dark, evil, bad, mean etc. He's a bitch X.x HE'S AT HIS BEST WHEN: He's all on his lonesome, with noone, in fact, nothing to disturb him. HE'S AT HIS WORST WHEN: He's around Tyson...O.o; HIS GOAL IN LIFE: To be the Beyblading Champion of the world! XD! |
