So that's right, I'm a Max lover. It has been declared. Sure, Rei is at the top of my list as well, and I even love Kai and Tyson sometimes (*is suprised at what's being written*) , but I'm an avid Max fan.
Now, we all know you have to have one Happy-go-lucky-sugar-fed hyper kid on any series, but Maxy has gotta be the King of that Castle.
Has anyone noticed how pointy those eyelashes are? Or that weirdly shaped mouth that always seems to be grinning? Or the way he's always happy?
Some might think that unnatural, but hey- it's anime! All of the characters on this show have over pronounced traits, so why can't Max be completely over-the-top cheerful?
His odd personality can be one of the most entertaining things in the show at some points.
So, now that we've established that Max is a hyper-upped kid with a sunny personality larger than life - lets take a look at Max: The tactical genius.
Some tend to take this boy as stupid, blinded by his optimistic view of...Well, of everything. But he isn't. This is just another thing that makes him a better competitor, as everyone seems to underestimate him. Remember the episode where he faces off against Kai, in the semi-finals of the rergional qualifier? This is the very first time we see the real Max behind that sunny facade. He actually outsmarts Kai, which has got to be a pretty hard thing to do. Sure, he loses in the end, but that's not what counts- Dranzer is pretty much unbeatable. There's another huge instance when he shows us this intelligence, when he's battling against Michael, the show-off leader of the All-Starz. He beats this guy 2-1, and it was close, but he prevailed. He out-thought the impulsive teen, and won. He was the one that showed us that the human mind and spirit can conquer over any scientific mumbo-jumbo, always.
MAX; THE GOOD: Friendly. Cheerful. Optimistic. Funny ^^. Always there for his friends.
And..THE BAD: Can be over optimistic. Is too trustworthy of others. Finds it hard to accept the truth, when it's bad-anyway.
HE'S AT HIS BEST WHEN: He's around his friends! But....Around happy people.....And when he's on a high....Which is pretty much always.
HE'S AT HIS WORST WHEN: I wouldn't know, he never seems to be unhappy.O.o;
HIS GOAL IN LIFE: To show the world that he can do whatever he sets his mind on.
