| Adrano. A picture of myself taken by a dear friend. It’s just too bad that it was raining and it was sunset, because this is a unique town square. Tropical yet Mediterranean, urban yet clean. A bus and train come here from Catania, which is 36 km away. |

| Etna’s main crater. For a 3300m mountain, it’s quite easy to climb…no gear required. Of course, it erupted while I was there, so I had to go with a guide (who didn’t speak English). It’s also cold and very windy (100km/h), but European cellulars still get reception here…contrary to other countries….. |
