MIDTOWN
It really should be called downtown, but hey...only a city like NYC can afford to have both! When people think NYC, this is the area that comes to mind.

Grand Central Station on 42nd St. This is one of the two intercity stations in Manhattan.

Chrysler Building on 42nd and Lexington. This is an unusual shot of this architectural masterpiece. My fault-I got too close!

Empire State Building on 34th St. This time I took the shot from three blocks away to get something people would recognise...

Flatiron Building on 23rd St. Personally, it's my favorite building in Manhattan. Easily recognizable, not too high, amazing detail and on the edge of Greenwich Village.

General Electric Building on 50th near Lexington, with St. Bartholomey Anglican Church dwarfed in front. Nice job in combining the two together.

Prometheus Statue at the Rockefeller Center, between 49th and 52nd Sts north-south and Fifth and Seventh Aves east-west. The buildings are nice but quaint. If you're an NBC buff, you can watch tapings of shows here, like Saturday Night Live. There are tons of things to do here, so it's a spot to check out....
