Piazza Bellini.  The church on the right, S. Cataldo, is what I would call arabo-norman.  Next to the church, which I unfortunately cut off, there still are remains of the Roman walls to the city.
Il Teatro Massimo…Palermo is known for theatre, in fact, it can be considered Italy’s Broadway.  Italian stage actors and opera singers come to perform in this prestigious theatre....
Sferrocavallo, or horseshoe, the hostel’s neighbourhood, at sunrise.  One of the few neighbourhoods in town which has a nightlife!
